On 16th April, 2025, at 11am, a meeting of the IQAC was held in the IQAC office, Sikkim Govt. College Namchi, headed by the chair person of the college Dr. Deepak Tewari and Coordinator Dr. Laxmi Rai.
The main agenda behind the meeting was to discuss for the allocation of responsibilities among the members, and the inclusion of additional committee members, and other miscellaneous discussions related to IQAC.
The agendas discussed in the meeting were:
- To work on the submission of AQUAR 2023-2024, and to request for the portal to be re – opened.
- To receive a report from the old Committee and set a deadline for the submission of AQUAR 2023 – 24.
- The IQAC Meetings will be held twice a month to update on the progress of the criteria.
- The NAAC visit report must be discussed in the next meeting.
- It is mandatory to organise a programme which must be held every session under the banner of IQAC.
- The IQAC members to meet the committee heads and the HOD’s on a regular basis.
- A proposal was submitted by Dr. Bitu Subba to collaborate with the Research Cell and organize an event.
- The Academic Calendar, Feedback forms and Registration must be prioritized.
- A proposal to organize an event related to gender under the banner of IQAC.
- The meeting will be held next month. Each Criterion will be discussed by the respective Conveners of the Criteria’s.
