On 23rd May 2025, a meeting was held in the IQAC room, with the IQAC Chairperson Dr. Deepak Tewari, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Laxmi Rai, Criteria III Coordinator and members of the Research Cell.
The main agenda for the meeting was to discuss the role of the Research Cell, Sikkim Government College, Namchi, and discussions regarding the Road map for further tasks.
The outcomes of the meeting are as follows:

Awareness program to be conducted for the teachers and students regarding –
i.
The funding agencies.
ii.
The recent trends of research in different branches of knowledge.
•
Preparing a road map for further enhancement of research work in the college.
•
Requirement of a separate office room for the Research Cell with internet and computer facilities.
