The Sikkim Government College, Namchi has an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) comprising of Mrs. Diki Ongmu Lepcha (Convenor), Dr. Panu O Pazo, Mr. Bhim Thapa, Mrs. Archana Sharma, Mrs. Pema Uden Sherpa, student representatives; Priyanka Rai (PG), Diksha Pandey (UG) and external member Shailendra Chettri (Ward Councillor).
On Friday, 13th March, 2026, the members visited several locations of the campus and briefed the students regarding complaints/grievances related to sexual harassments within the campus (i.e. stalking, eve-teasing, body shaming, verbal abuse, molestation, blackmailing, cyber-bullying, etc.). The Notifications regarding the ICC and its purposes were put up in the notice boards and entrances of the Main Academic Building, Science Block, Girl’s Hostel, Boy’s hostel, Staff Quarters.
