On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, the Cadets of 4 SK BN NCC, Sikkim Government College Namchi, observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 31st October 2025.
The event was graced by Dr. Sanjaya Kumar Subba, Vice Principal, Dr. Yugal Kishore Khanal, Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Kamal Poudyal, Former Head, Department of Zoology, SGC Namchi, and other dignitaries, whose presence and motivating words boosted the morale of the cadets and highlighted the essence of the day.
The celebration included a Lecturate Competition and a Debate Competition on themes associated with national unity and integrity. These competitions provided a valuable platform for the cadets to express their views with confidence, enhance their communication and leadership skills, and deepen their understanding of the importance of unity in strengthening our nation.
The programme witnessed active participation and commendable turnout from the cadets, reflecting their discipline, determination, and commitment towards national integration. The event turned out to be a great success due to the collective efforts of the cadets and the support extended by the college administration.
