NCC Cadet Sagar Chettri (Botany Honours, IV semester) of SGC Namchi have successful completed 25 days Basic Mountaineering Course from Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering & Winter sports at Pahalgam Jammu & Kashmir. Course comprises of Knots & Hitches, Climbling, Rappling, Base making, Bouldering, zipline, Ice crafting. During this course he also got chance to volunteer as a Rescue Team during flash flood at Amarnath. His overall outcome of the course was excellent, he was also appreciate by Indian Army and Amarnath Yatra Committee for his selfless service during flash floods.
