The Grievance Redressal Cell of Sikkim Government College, Namchi, has been formally constituted to ensure a fair, transparent, and supportive environment for the student community. The Cell is mandated to address student concerns with the utmost integrity and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Redressal: To receive and look into grievances submitted by students relating to academic matters, administration, examinations, scholarships, institutional facilities, harassment, or any form of discrimination.
Fair Hearing: To conduct entirely impartial hearings, ensuring all involved parties are granted a fair and equal opportunity to present their case.
Confidentiality & Protection: To strictly maintain the confidentiality of all grievances and actively protect the identity of the aggrieved students wherever necessary or requested.
Timely Resolution: To resolve all registered grievances within a reasonable and swift time frame, strictly adhering to the mandated University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.
Documentation & Reporting: To maintain meticulous records of all complaints, resolutions, and actions taken, and to submit periodic reports directly to the Principal.
