On 27th February 2026, the 2nd Semester students of the Bhutia Department
actively participated in a departmental gardening activity within the college
campus. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting
environmental awareness, cleanliness, and teamwork among students.
The students enthusiastically took part in cleaning the garden area, removing
weeds, digging the soil, planting saplings, and watering the plants. The activity
not only enhanced the beauty of the departmental surroundings but also
encouraged students to develop a sense of responsibility towards nature.
The gardening session was conducted under the guidance of the concerned
faculty members, who motivated the students and supervised the work. The
cooperation and unity displayed by the students made the programme
successful.
Such activities help in building environmental consciousness and strengthen
the bond among students through collective effort. The Bhutia Department
looks forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future.
