Namchi, 16/05/26: Day 6 of Aarohan continued amidst persistent rainfall that dominated the better half of the day. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, the spirit and enthusiasm of the fest remained undeterred as the scheduled sports events carried on with limited activities. However, with only chess and volleyball matches being played today, the schedule remained relatively restricted, while football and a few other events were temporarily put on hold.
The chess tournament entered its pre-quarterfinal stage, where participants displayed fierce competitiveness, making the matches highly intense and engaging.
In the sports category, the girls’ volleyball tournament resumed with the Department of Economics facing the Department of Commerce in a thrilling contest. After a fiercely fought encounter, the Commerce Department emerged victorious and secured their place in the finals. In another girls’ volleyball match, the Department of Nepali faced the Department of P.E., where the P.E. Department secured the win.
In the boys’ volleyball category, the Department of Education faced the Department of P.E., with the P.E. Department emerging victorious after a competitive match.
