The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Cell of Sikkim Government College, Namchi, organized an Entrepreneurial Motivational Talk today at the Auditorium Hall of the college.
The programme was graced by Mrs. Smita Rai, Founder and Proprietor of Flavours Restaurant, and Mr. Denzong Shankar, Founder and Proprietor of Easy Shelter, Gangtok, in the presence of the Principal, Vice-Principal, faculty members of the Department of Commerce, members of the Entrepreneurship Cell, and students of the college.
During the session, both the resource persons shared their inspiring entrepreneurial journeys, experiences, challenges, and achievements with the students. They encouraged the students to explore entrepreneurship as a career option and motivated them to take initiative in starting their own ventures. The speakers also assured the students of their guidance and support in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
The interaction proved to be highly informative and motivating for the students, providing valuable insights into the practical aspects of entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities in Sikkim.
As a token of appreciation and recognition for their valuable contribution and achievements in the field of entrepreneurship, the Department of Commerce and the Entrepreneurship Cell, SGC Namchi, presented appreciation letters to both the entrepreneurs.
