Sikkim Government College, Namchi, 13.08.2026: A career counselling session was conducted by Government ITI, Kewzing at the auditorium. It was attended by the fifth semester students of all the departments.
The resource person for today was Mr. Prashant Gurung, Instructor at ITI. Information about the institution along with the courses offered were explained to the students. Those courses beneficial to the graduates were explained in detail. The institute focuses on giving their trainees practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge. The benefit of training programmes offered and the validity of its certificates were discussed.
A brief overview about their past placement opportunities were informed to the students. Lastly the session ended with a Q&A round where the students were given opportunity to clear their doubts.
