The Limboo Department, Sikkim Govternment College, Namchi organized a one day talk on “Srijanga Script and Its Importance on 25 August 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Bhim Prasad Limboo, Faculty Member of Limboo Department.

The talk focused on the historical, and linguistic significance of the Srijanga Script and its role in preserving the Limboo language, literature, and cultural identity. The resource person emphasized the importance of learning and promoting the script among the younger generation.

The programme was attended by Miss Dil Hangma Limboo,Faculty Member, and all the students of the Limboo Department. The session was informative and engaging, and the student gained valuable insights into the importance of preserving and promoting the Srijanga Script.
