On the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all teachers, educators, and members of the teaching fraternity who are dedicated to the noble responsibility of shaping young minds and building the future of society.

A teacher is not merely a transmitter of knowledge but a mentor, role model, and guide whose conduct, values, discipline, integrity, and commitment leave a lasting impression on students. The true dignity of the teaching profession lies not only in what we teach, but also in how we conduct ourselves.

At the same time, it is important for us to acknowledge that, in the present changing educational environment, there are instances where professional commitment, discipline, accountability, and the dignity of the teaching profession appear to be receiving less attention than they deserve. This is a matter that calls for serious reflection. Professionalism in teaching is not an option; it is an essential responsibility.

As educators, we must continually remind ourselves of our responsibilities towards our students, our institutions, and society. Punctuality, sincerity, academic integrity, preparedness, continuous learning, fairness, and genuine concern for students must remain the foundations of our professional life.
